Automatic milking rotary success in Europe continues

By 8th June 2013November 22nd, 2022No Comments

“A farmer of today is faced with many challenges such as profitability, attracting new people, and sustainability to mention a few. The solution too many of these challenges is spelled automation and we came to a cross road where investment in sustainable and fully automated milking production was put against giving up milk production completely. And we didn´t want to give up milking,” says Dr. W Furchert, Managing Director at Gersdorf Farms.

“Automatic milking is a solution many modern farmers are getting more and more accustomed to. I would call it a natural step in the development of a more modern, sustainable and work friendly dairy farm management. We meet farmers every day that show great interest in making farm management smarter and we are proud to support this interest and continue to expand our game-changing technology” says Jonas Hällman, Director Automatic Milking Systems, DeLaval International.

DeLaval AMR is designed to accelerate the dairy farmer’s transition from milking management to total farm management. It helps dairy farmers grow profitably by working smarter to drive greater efficiency, productivity and business sustainability. Today, AMR performs approximately 3,000 milkings each day around the world.
